Our Go-To Platform: Ubiquiti UniFi
When a project is J&M's to spec, the company recommends Ubiquiti's UniFi line — switches, gateways and Wi-Fi access points managed together from one console. J&M prefers UniFi for its quality, and because it gives a growing business one place to see and manage the whole network. This is a preference, not a requirement: J&M also installs equipment a client already owns, or any brand requested. J&M is not a certified or authorized Ubiquiti dealer and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Ubiquiti Inc.
J&M Connections installs Cisco network equipment as well as Ubiquiti UniFi and the brands our clients already own or request.

How a Project Runs
As with cabling, J&M prices networking work with a written bid built around a site walkthrough, rather than a flat rate, so the number reflects the building the work is actually happening in.
The on-site walkthrough is free. We walk the space with you, then send a written bid.
Timeline
Every project is different, so the timeline depends on the size and scope of the job. Your written bid includes a schedule for your project.
Standards We Work To
The same crew that installs structured cabling installs and supports the network equipment on top of it. Every technician holds BICSI certification, the team includes an RCDD for projects that need formal design review, and installations follow EIA/TIA standards. Workmanship carries a 1-year parts-and-labor warranty, excluding damage from misuse.

K-12 Schools — Network Infrastructure (Independence School, Briggs School & Additional Districts)
J&M has completed structured cabling and network infrastructure projects for K-12 schools across central Ohio, including Independence School and Briggs School. School telecom closets tend to be small and have to serve a whole wing of classrooms — J&M's work there shows cable runs brought down from ceiling conduit onto ladder rack, routed through two-post racks and cable rings, terminated on patch panels and labeled, with the network equipment mounted in the same rack.
Koorsen — Structured Cabling & Networking
J&M completed structured cabling and networking work at a Koorsen facility, a recognized regional fire and life-safety company. The equipment rack shows network routers mounted above rows of bundled cabling feeding into a patch panel — cabling and network equipment installed together by the same crew.
DSW — IT Room Design-Build
Beyond pulling cable, J&M's work for DSW included designing and building the IT room itself and installing a Flex Tray overhead pathway to feed it — the same kind of data-closet design-build work covered under networking.
